From my sweet tooth to yours...*
Baking is my guilty pleasure. It is my stress reliever, my meditation, and my date on a lonely Friday night. Above all, it is my true love. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been very fond of sweets. It all started at a young age when Santa introduced me to the Easy Bake Oven. From there, my passion for baking grew. It became my favorite hobby--my take on arts and crafts. Although I do not have a pastry arts degree, nor would I ever compare myself, my recipes, and my skills (if you can even call them that) to a pastry chef, I do take pride in the products I make—well, most of them. I am creative, energetic, and zealous.
I am far from perfect, but will continue to strive to be the next Betty Crocker or Martha Stewart. The only difference is that my creations are inspired by other recipes made by bakers, bloggers and beginners all over the world. My vision is to provide fun and easy-to-follow recipes for anyone who wants to bake. The only requirement is patience—patience for me and for yourself. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, I am a recent college graduate with a limited budget, so I may take a few shortcuts by using pre-made mixes and generic brand items...but I promise you won’t taste the difference!
